Parque del caracol
The colorful conch shell represents love for the city, as well as one of the verses of the city's anthem. It resembles the trumpet-like conch shells used by ancestors to sing during rituals. The work was built by members of the Siembra Esperanza Foundation and Marines of the Colombian Navy, with the support of citizens and business leaders committed to environmental protection and the beautification and development of the port city.
